BOSJES
A contemporary chapel, tea garden and spa in one
About this stay
BOSJES is as much landmark as accommodation: the contemporary chapel on the property has become a destination in its own right, and the tea garden and spa build a full day of activity around the guesthouse rooms without requiring a single drive off-property. Outside any malaria zone, the pool and spa sit alongside a restaurant serving guests staying overnight as well as day visitors drawn by the architecture. At 9.0 across 1,041 reviews, the review volume is the highest of any Wolseley-area stay on this list, reflecting the venue's popularity well beyond overnight guests alone. Free breakfast and a kitchen in some rooms round out the guesthouse side of the property.

Our take
Outside any malaria zone and built as much for events as for overnight stays, BOSJES suits travellers who want a design-forward setting with a spa and pool rather than a traditional farm cottage. It works well for a couple's weekend built around the chapel, tea garden and treatments. Anyone wanting total quiet should check the wedding calendar before booking, since the venue's popularity as an event space means atmosphere shifts depending on what's scheduled.
- Check the wedding calendar before booking a quiet weekend, since BOSJES hosts events that change the property's atmosphere.
- Visit the tea garden in the late morning, before day-trip crowds from Cape Town typically arrive by early afternoon.
- Book a spa treatment alongside your stay rather than assuming same-day availability, given the venue's popularity.
