Our take
Hotel Savoy is a central Mthatha base with three restaurants, a splash pool, a spa and meeting rooms, which suits business and family trips alike. Guests can pick Standard or Executive rooms, so it is worth checking which grade you are booking. The 7.9 rating across 1,062 reviews is decent rather than strong, so I would choose it for location and facilities.
- Consider booking an Executive room for a more spacious and upgraded experience during your stay.
- Take advantage of the three in-house restaurants for convenient dining without leaving the hotel.
- Use the splash pool to cool off and relax after a day of exploring Mthatha or attending meetings.
