Our take
Harbour House Hotel is a well-placed Hermanus base in the old harbour area, with ocean views, a rooftop pool and a wine bar. The self-catering suites help families on longer stays, while the Manor House rooms offer garden and pool views. The 8.7 rating across 1,124 reviews is strong, so I would recommend it for a coastal stay.
- Consider a Harbour Square suite if you prefer self-catering options and a rooftop pool.
- Book a Manor House room for a more romantic setting with garden views and a private balcony.
- Take advantage of the central location to explore Hermanus's harbour and town on foot.
