Arriving at The Seaglass means stepping through a double-volume entrance that opens straight onto the view: the 25-metre rim-flow pool leads the eye out to where sea meets sky, with sightlines stretching from Durban harbour up to the Tugela Mouth. The steel-and-glass structure is built around a natural bowl, so every angle of the house works with the landscape rather than against it. Days settle into a rhythm of breakfast on site, time at the pool, and the spa for anyone not spending the whole stay on a lounger. Running largely off the grid gives the property a quieter, more self-contained feel than a standard guesthouse.
